Today, once again, we will talk about Donald Trump, who made a number of interventions this week that has absolutely shocked the Europeans.

It was a very, very bad week for the transatlantic relationship, starting with the Munich Security Conference.

In fact, starting earlier when Trump already announced that he had telephoned Vladimir Putin

and that there would be a process, and we had the J.D. Van speech in Munich.

And we had a series of tweets in which Trump progressively started to blame Ukraine for the war.

He questioned the legitimacy of Volodymyr Zelensky as president. The delay in the

Ukrainian elections. And he even insulted him personally. Then Zelensky shot back, insulted Trump

for living in some disinformation space. So this isn't going well. This morning, Friedrich Mertz came up

very strongly against Donald Trump. The idea of Friedrich Mertz came up very strongly against Donald Trump. The idea

of Friedrich Mertz is the fixer, the great fixer of the transatlantic relationship. I think that

idea is also gone. So we are in what I would call uncharted territory in the transatlantic

relationship, a mega, mega problem for the EU. I wouldn't even call it a challenge anymore,

as we always

euphemistically do. That word is absolutely wrong. This is an absolutely mega crisis. And we have more

to come. There's going to be tariffs. Trump already talked about a 25% car tariff. There's a side

there's the tariff policy sort of taking shape. Slowly, we're starting to get bits and pieces.

They're reciprocal tariffs.

They're going to be special tariffs.

So they all add up, you're applied on top of each other.

So the cars could easily be 35%.

Taras could be more even if they add other non-tariff trade barriers to this.
