Today's story is another Mother West story, where Peter Rabbit is learning about another

animal that lives near him.

We know that Peter is always very curious about everyone else, and this time he wonders

what can be making the leaves move.

Is it a beetle?

His friend Jimmy skunk likes beetles, so he calls him over, and when Jimmy goes to see if

it is indeed a beetle, he finds out it is not, and explains to Peter who it is that

it is so small and making the leaves move.

When teeny-weeny became grateful, did something move among the dead leaves along the old log,

or was it the wind that stirred them?

Peter Rabbit stared very hard trying to find out, not that it made the least bit of

difference to Peter, it didn't.

If something alive had moved those leaves, that something was too small for Peter to be

afraid of.

Probably it was a worm or a bug.
