0:26.4	Today I am going to share chapter 8 of Cat City.
0:31.8	If you remember, Susan was brought to Cat City after being bit by a rat.
0:39.8	Tucker's family was not very happy that he took Susan there, and the council was even less
0:46.1	happy.
0:49.4	The council needs to decide what they are going to do with Susan, and while she waits,
0:56.3	she admires the beauty of the city.
1:02.8	In this chapter, Tucker finally gets his chance to speak to the council and tell them why
1:09.2	he brought Susan to Cat City, the rats.
1:14.7	The noise in the city center seems to go on forever, and then the gong is rung again.
1:23.6	When Julian, captain of the guard arrives to ask some questions, things get a little
1:30.2	heated.

1:47.6	But when Susan thought the noise would go on forever, the gong sounded for the third time,
1:55.0	and silence fell over the cats.
2:00.4	Tucker remained silent at her side, aw, still on her foot.
2:05.3	The only reason Susan was still standing there.
2:10.2	Her instincts told her to run, even though she was sure, if she tried she would be smothered
2:16.8	in cats before she could even go a few feet.
2:21.8	But Tucker's presence, standing so firmly in face of such opposition, made her braver,
2:29.6	and want to stay to help her friend anyway she could.
2:34.8	And it wasn't like she knew the first thing about getting home from where she was anyway.
