I am Shay Elliott of the Elliott Homestead joined by Angela Reed of Parisian Farm Girl.

We are two homemakers here who meet with you every Monday to rescue the art of homemaking

from the daily grind. And you know we started this podcast three years ago a week before the world

shut down for COVID which we didn't know was going to happen. And all these homemakers found

themselves in their home. They liked it or not. And you know it's interesting three years out now

homemaking has had I shouldn't say a resurgence because it's always been here. But it's it's come

to the pop the surface of pop culture. Yeah it's actually a part of pop culture which kind of

annoys me how it's like you know in the reels and stuff it's slightly cultish now at this point.

Yeah and like a little like cake we just say sub culture please yeah keep it off the chopping

clock yeah exactly yeah big time that's so funny how things will do that. And you know I often

find that when people decide okay I'm gonna you know I'm gonna be a homemaker I'm gonna do this

or that all of a sudden they develop this like severe war crimes like no it's okay just you don't

have to be like damn the man we can just be angry like see what I'm do I'm counter cultural

like it me you can just yeah yeah just hang out it's all good just be chic homemaker chic

now homemaker dogmatic homemaker tribal just homemaker chic so I wrote this blog post if you
