Waking up in the middle of the night to a strange woman standing in the corner,

who is she? What does she want? Why is she there?

These are the questions that Tanner Rutledge asked as a child.

As he grew older, he would continue to try to find answers as to what haunted him

and what haunts those around us. This is his story

today on the Grave Talks. Wow. So my earliest memory is going to be back when I was in elementary

school. I grew up in a house that it was an older home. It had been moved to the property where we lived. It was somewhere

in the middle of town. It was moved out to a farm. And I saw things in the house that I couldn't

explain. There was, my parents didn't talk about it until I was older, but I would see this,

this woman. And she was always in,

it's not really a white dress, but it was kind of like maybe a nightgown. She had long, dark hair,

and every once in a while I would see her in the house, moving down the hall, standing in what was my old bedroom.

And when I got older, my mom finally opened up and talked about it.

And she would say that she would wake up in the, in the middle of the night and see this woman standing over my crib.

So I've always been interested in it.

What got me into actually investigating was I was 10 years old and there was a Disney Adventures magazine.

I don't remember.

I don't know if you guys remember it or not, but there was an article in there on real life Ghostbusters and Troy Taylor.

And I remember reading it and thinking, oh my God, people actually do this at least somewhat for a living.

And that kind of started me down the road of watching paranormal shows and just getting into the investigative side.
