Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since 2013, averaging about 21,000 steps a day.

This was during my 20K one-year step challenge where I was publicly committed to walking 20,000 steps every day without missing a day.

It was written during the winter when the weather was really, really challenging.

And so I wrote the blog post really as an encouragement that even when there are what feels like obstacles to walking outside, you can still move for fitness. You can still walk for fitness even if you don't have a treadmill.
