like people pain. In week two of our collection, Christ and Crisis, Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr.

shares on the power of forgiveness in this message when people let you down. Choosing to forgive

doesn't mean the hurt never happened. It simply means that the pain no longer controls you.

Now let's lean into the message. We are in part two. Someone say part two. We're in part two

of a collection of talks that I started last Sunday entitled Christ in Crisis. And I thought I

would give us our foundational passage of Scripture just because I preached from it last week,

doesn't mean that it's still not good this week. Somebody said amen. Hebrews chapter four verse 14,

this is what the entire collection is based on. Since then, we have a great high priest who has passed

through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Someone say, hold fast.

You have to hold fast to what it is that you believe. You need a confession that's stronger than

your circumstances. Life will punch you. Life will attack you. And it's in that moment that you

need to have a bold confession about who your God is. Many of us spend our entire life telling God

all about our problems. But hopefully day, you get a revelation. It's time to start telling all

your problems about your God. Can I get an amen out there? Hold fast. Hold fast. Hold fast that

God knows you better than you know yourself. But we do not have a high priest who's unable to

sympathize with our weakness. But one, who in every respect has been tempted as we are yet.

Someone say, yet, yet without sin, this God knows you. This God understands you. This God

walked in your shoes and he did so perfectly and he did so without sin. So what's our response to

that? Our response is, let us then with confidence, boldness, draw near to the throne of God.

Draw near to the throne of grace. Someone say, get close. Hold fast that God knows you, get close
