Heber chapter four is where I want you to turn.

Today we're starting a brand new collection of talks entitled Christ in Crisis.

And for the next few weeks, I'm going to be speaking on this subject.

I think it's going to be an encouraging collection.

I think it's going to be one that God's going to meet us.

And we're going to discover some things about who He is, right in the midst of our pain,

right in the midst of our challenges, right in the midst of our crisis.

And today, it really is just the introduction message, but I think it's going to lay a foundation.

Because so much of what I want to talk to you about for the next few weeks is really coming from this foundational passage founded Hebrews chapter four.

Hebrews is the book of the Bible that we don't know who wrote it.

It's one of these books that really draws on the Old Testament and uses Old Testament pictures of God.

Throughout the entire book reveals that that's who Jesus is.
