And it's been a light case of COVID for me. I appreciate your prayers. I'm thankful

I feel like I'm right on the tail end of it and I'm moving on in life. But my in-laws

are still battling it. Please be in prayer for them. They're the ones I received the

sickness from. I believe in they are having a rougher time of it than me. So please be

partner. Alright, let's dive in to Acts chapter 28 verses 17 through 22. The Apostle

Paul has arrived in Rome and he is recuperating for a couple of days, as you might imagine,

after this long shipwreck and journey and things that he's experienced. And we see him

starting to take action three days later. Let's pick it up in Acts chapter 28 verses 17

through 22. It says after three days, he called together the local leaders of the Jews.

And when they had gathered, he said to them, now let's stop for a moment. Paul, who himself

is a Jew, ethnically speaking, was previously a Pharisee in the Jewish religious, I don't

know, should call it the Jewish religious structure. He was a Pharisee himself, but he's

become a Christian follower of Jesus Christ. He goes to the local leaders of the Jews.

He calls them to himself because he's under arrest. And they come. Now, why would they

come? Well, it's probably because Paul's name or Saul of Tarsus would have carried

some weight. He was a notable Pharisee. And so when they hear that he's in town, they
