All right, I want to talk to you about those times in life when we are offended or perhaps

when someone else is offended by us.

I think in the church, we hear this word a lot.

We hear it in our culture too.

Oh, that offends me or he offended me or those kinds of statements.

What is that all about and how does that really work on an emotional and soul level?

Well, Proverbs 18, 19 is going to give us some insight into that today.

It says, a brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city and quarreling is like

the bars of a castle.
