| 0:05.0 | Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |

| 0:17.2 | My grandson's call all those we've promised to pray for. My grandsons, Cormac and Elliot, have been sick. Teresa and I have been helping out and now we are sick. And I find it's really hard to make decisions when you feel rotten. |
| 0:25.0 | In fact, there are certain times when it's prudent not to make decisions. |
| 0:31.0 | We have to be very careful that our choices and actions are not |
| 0:35.5 | derailed by powerful emotions. As Sirac says, never act in a fit of passion. So today we meditate on guidelines for prudence when we face strong emotions. |
| 0:50.0 | The first guideline is, don't rethink a decision when you're in the process of carrying it out. |
| 0:58.0 | In general, we should take the time to deliberate, but once we've made the choice act quickly and don't rethink things |
| 1:07.0 | now there are exceptions there are times when you may when you may need to rethink things. When is that? Only when new and relevant |
| 1:18.2 | information has surfaced. The fact that something is really hard or you don't like it is not new or relevant information to consider. |

| 1:29.5 | Because that's the experience of everyone who's starting out at something worthwhile. |
