Thank God for Jesus and all that He means to us.

He means the world to me and I pray that he means the world to you

and that you honor him with all of your heart, your mind, your soul and your strength.

Well if you would turn in your Bibles with me, 2nd Kings chapter 4, second kings chapter 4,

and beginning with verse 38, verse 38 down to verse 41, and you'll notice the word of the Lord for today.

And Elisha returned to Gilgol, and there was a famine in the land now the sons of the prophets were sitting before him and he said to his servant put on a large pot in ball stew for the sons of the prophets and so one went out into the field to gather herbs

and found a wild vine and gathered from it a lap full of wild girds and came and

and sliced them into the pot of stew though though they did not know what they were.

And then they served it to the men to eat.

Now it happened that as they were eating the stew, they cried out and said,

Man of God, there is death in the pot, and they could not eat it. So he said, then bring some flour.

And he put it into the pot and said, serve it to the people that they may eat. And there was

nothing harmful in the pot.

I want to talk today from the subject when life ain't worth stew.

When life ain't worth stew.

There are some things that can make life seem to go spiraling downward and it not be the most

fun experience for people.

I think that most people, when they live long enough, they will have some episodes of some bad stew.

Even when you go to places that know how to make certain things,

if you go there often enough and long enough, one day you'll have an experience that won't be ideal.

And so there are different things that can happen to you in your life that you

never banked on happening and it can make life where life is not worth stew I want
