Amen, amen, amen. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. You may be seated. Our foundation

text today comes from Genesis chapter 2, verse 7, from the new King James Version. Notice there

these words. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life

and man became a living being

and I'm speaking today from the subject

earth wind and fire

earth wind and fire earth wind and fire. Earth, wind, and fire.

It's interesting that man came out of the earth.

And then God's wind breathed life into us so that we became living beings.

And it is interesting then that his word set a fire on the inside of us.

And his word gives us two things, passion and purpose.

Passion and purpose.

It is when you get a word from God that you come into an understanding of why you were made,

why you were born. You see, I'm thankful to God that, you know, a job is what you're paid for,

but a calling is what you're made for. So when God calls us, that happens by the power of a word. And so it is God

in all three of those dimensions of meeting us in earth, wind that he blew into our nostrils,

the breath of life that allows us to live, and then the fire that allows us to feel the passion of

God and burn with a purpose that comes from God to be able to do his bidding in the earth.

We were formed for God's glory to be able to serve him.

So he gave us all three of these elements here today, earth, wind, and fire.

And we see these in manifestation here in Genesis in the book of beginnings as God formed man out of the earth.
