Sometimes you see a friend who seems to have a great marriage on the surface, but underneath

some things eroding the foundation of their relationship.

I remember in our church we were doing a small group working through a marriage book

and we're kind of halfway through it and one of the couples separated and said we're

getting a divorce.

While we're going through a marriage book and we had hopefully it wasn't one of our books,

it was not one of your books.

Well I'm John Fuller joined in the studio by the couple in charge of our marriage team

here, Greg and Erin Smolley and they've written some great books.

We're going to start off today hearing a bit of a conversation with Jeff and Cheryl Scruggs.

Jim Daly and I talked to them about their incredible testimony.

They were married for 10 years to each other and then divorced for seven and then they

remarried each other and they've been together for more than 20 years since then.

There really is a story of God's redemption in a couple's lives.
