It's funny how context can really change a situation.

There are many times when I would say 86 degrees is hot.

But this morning, different context, I'm going to say it's cool.

This is a daily podcast that encourages and motivates you to take the walk, even when it's hot,

like it's going to be today.

Our 10 minute walk starts right after this.

I haven't been out this early for a walk in a while.

It is well before sunrise on a day that is expected to be the hottest day of the year

here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Temperature, I think, is going to climb to 94. And when you throw the humidity into the mix,

it's supposed to feel like a hundred and six.

And full on blazing sunshine.

And so that makes walking right now, and I checked before I left the house, the heat index is, I think it's around 85.

Most days of the year, 85 would be considered hot, but today it's considered the coolest part of the day.

Context.

A couple of years ago, our next door neighbor was experiencing some really nasty symptoms.

And I don't know if it was he that called 911 or his wife Carol,

but the ambulance came and they took Bob to the hospital,

which of course was very concerning.

When someone you know is carted off in an ambulance,

oh my, that's a cicada.

I don't think he's got much life left in him, but he's on the sidewalk.
