In 2014, that's when I was just leaving my dad's organization to start my own.

And you've probably heard the stories of how all hell broke loose in my life.

I mean, right when I was launching out, everything from being diagnosed with skin cancer. I mean, I had to have surgery on my

face, stitches all the way down my face, on my back, my entire chest was so covered in it, I had to put

this chemo cream on it. It was horrible. I mean, every day, as soon as I got home from work,

I would put these frozen peas on my chest because it would just burn.

And then it turned from bad to worse.

It looked like raw hamburger meat all over my chest.

But I just wanted to cry.

I mean, when I would look in the mirror, I would just make myself point in the mirror and say,

I am not moved by what I see.

I am not moved by what I feel. I am moved by

the word of God. And God's word says that he will restore health to me and heal me of my wounds in Jesus

name. Well, that was just one thing. But then also my house would not sell. I was opening my first office

an hour and a half away, starting from scratch.

All of my team members sold their houses instantly.

They already had new houses in the new city.

And my house wouldn't sell for seven months, not one single offer.

So my daughter and I, we had to go stay in a hotel during the week so she could start attending the new school in the new city.

Plus, let me just mention this, I had to, you know, I reduced my salary significantly because, you know, just starting out, not knowing if I could afford to pay team members plus myself.

So my salary was far less, but I'm paying for a hotel room

for three months. Can you imagine? Which also means you're eating out for three months, right?
