What's going on everyone? Welcome back to the show. Today we're going to talk about algae yet again, but we're talking about today

When might it be actually be bad for the garden? When are we gonna try to remove it or when are we going to try to remove it or when are we going to look for a

potentially a warning sign of hey you know what we've learned a lot about algae

We know it's it's present in the soil, but you know what I might just have a little bit too much in the garden right now and in this

episode which I think is very interesting we talk about a potential new method for covercropping

or adding nitrogen back to your soil without using a cover crop

and skipping plants altogether and I think you can guess what we'll be using

instead. So tune in this was a very interesting little segment, I think you'll really enjoy it.

Cool, well let's move on then. Let's talk about, so we've talked a lot actually about why it's, why algae not only is in the but why it's it's good that it is in the

soil right? Yeah, yeah. Let's talk a little bit about the the reverse case.

When could that potentially go too far? When is that actually not good or what should we be looking for?

You know, yeah, that's a great question and I've been doing a little bit of sloothing around for this.

You know, I don't know any when when algae is actually going to be really bad for your garden

If you if you over water and you don't want it there if it's unsightly or if it's competing for resources that you want to, you know, a target for a different plant,

then of course that's going to be bad because it's in competition for what you're doing.

But I think what you may want to do at this point if you're growing algae and not growing say your tomato or anything else you may want to adjust your physical

Conditions of the garden so algae is going to be to be there's you know hundreds of different

strains that are going to be available in your in your dirt and they're going to

grow whatever they can if you leave it wet enough.

So that might, that condition might be great

for a diatom, but not so good for a cucumber.

So you've got to be able to dial those bad things back in.
