Hello, my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God.

Let's just focus on you and I'll focus on me.

Let's do the work today to hear God's Word.

Align our hearts and minds with the truth that it speaks to us and live our day with

our eyes open to that perspective so that we can walk in God's ways in the circumstances

he places before us today.

The reason that's so important is that the passage we're reading today demonstrates

how the Apostle Paul did so.

The circumstances that were placed before him were not circumstances I would wish for

anybody, and yet the Apostle Paul seemed to be able to take the circumstances that came

his way and view them in the light of the will of God and the will of Jesus who lived

in him and guided him in every step of the way.

So let's read the passage and we'll come back and speak about it.

Says now three days after Festus had arrived in the province, now Paul is here for a moment

we got to identify this guy Festus.

He's the new governor who has come on the scene who is the one who's going to be in charge

of hearing Paul's case and Paul has been in house arrest so to speak for two years waiting

for some sort of decision to be made about his case.

Says now three days after Festus had arrived in the province he went up to Jerusalem from

Cessaria.

Now Jerusalem's where Paul's whole situation began and a riot was stirred up and he
