Hello, my friends. I am so thankful you're with me. This is Carrie Green. We are about to

dive into the scriptures. And we call this the morning mindset. This is when we take our

time at the beginning of our day, whether it's actually in the morning or if it's later

in the day because you work a graveyard shift or a swing shift. This is our opportunity

to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. And we do so so that we can think God's

after him and put those thoughts into action in living our lives in a way that he would

have us live. Welcome and glad that you're here. Today we are walking through the story

of the Apostle Paul in the book of Acts chapter 24 verses 22 through 27 is where we find ourselves

today. And to set the stage, Paul has been accused by the Jews and the Jewish authorities

of stirring up riots and defiling the temple. And they have had him in such a dangerous place,

where there was a conspiracy to kill kill him that a Roman centurion took him and sent him off

to the governor Felix to have his case heard there. Now Felix has already heard Paul once.

And we're going to pick up on the story here where Paul's been kept in custody in Felix's

pritorium and he's waiting to hear what's going to happen. Verse 22 it says but Felix having a

rather accurate knowledge of the way put them off. Now let's stop from them. The way is the way

that they identified Christianity in those days. It's sort of the name that they gave to it.

Kind of like others would name a denomination or would name a particular faith. This was the way

that they identified Christianity. And it says Felix, this governor, he knew quite a bit about

Christianity and the things that they claimed. And he put off Paul's accuser saying when Lissius

the Tribune comes down, I will decide the case. Then he gave orders to the centurion that he should

be kept in custody but have some liberty and that none of his friends should be prevented from

attending to his needs. So get the picture here. Paul is still in Roman custody. But he's got a
