Whether he focuses on the earth or the sea or the dawn or the snow or the hail or the constellations of the rain, it's all the, the upshot of it all is Job, you don't know anything.

And you are impotent. You can't control any of this. You don't know where they came from.

I'm in charge of these things.

And if there are that many mysteries at the physical level, John, I think this is the gist of where he's going.

If there are that many mysteries, if you know so little about what you can see and get your hands on, as it were?

Do you expect really to be able to call me to account for the way I run the moral universe?

There really is something unsettling about being reminded how little we actually know. We like to think that we've got a decent

handle on things, how life works, how God works, but then God says to Job, if you
