Before you're digging into the story of Abraham from the book of Genesis, continuing what

All right, let's go back to that question, which is stronger in your decision making?

Is it fear or faith?

In our passage for today, Genesis 12, 10 through 13, we find Abraham faced with a very real

situation where it looks like from our vantage point, fear takes over and suppresses his

faith.

Let's look at Genesis 12 versus 10 through 13.

It says, now there was a famine in the land.

So Abraham went down to Egypt to sojourn there for the famine was severe in the land.

When he was about to enter Egypt, he said to Sarai, his wife, I know that you're a woman

...
