Welcome back. It's the big blue banter. New York Giants football podcast. I'm Dan Schneier. Join is always my co-host, Nick Falado, and, you know, we've reached that familiar moment, that familiar feeling as fans of the New York Giants and fans of the Big Blue Banter podcast. Hopefully you guys are fans of our show. It's two and seven. That's three straight years of two and seven. And you know, Nick, I was watching my dad today and there was that moment that comes every year in a season of the Giants or it feels like at least where a game is out of hand. This is the second week in a row. And my dad will say, let's just turn to red zone when the Giants try on defense. I don't even want to watch the Giants defense. He gets to the point of, I just want to watch the Jackson Dart snaps. And that's all I really care about. And that point, it feels so familiar to us because we've been here before. And it may not be with, I want to watch the offense or I want to watch the defense, but just I want to go to red zone because it's more entertaining. I always decline it,

1:32.3

obviously. I want to watch the game. But for fans, I don't blame them for not wanting to decline that

1:37.7

and wanting to see something that will make them not so angry. But what's different about this one to me,

1:43.4

Nick, what's just so different about

1:44.9

this one is all these other years, we didn't have a rookie quarterback playing great football.

1:50.4

And he still makes plays every single game and throws every single game, including ones

1:54.8

that are dropped that just stand out. And it just, what stuns me about this, it feels like

1:59.5

Groundhog Day, but it's not because all

2:01.5

these other times, we had such a dysfunctional offense or we just had nothing going on good. This time, they have something going really well, but they two and seven with it. So I don't know what to what to say about it, Nick. Oh, I do. It's, um, there's a common denominator. It's this regime that's in here.

2:18.5

It's the Joe Shane. It's the Brian Dable. It's, it's a poorly coached football team,

2:23.2

frankly. It's a team that will take one step forward and then a massive belly flop backwards,

2:30.4

right? Like five steps backwards. And I just don't understand how many times this can

2:35.1

consistently happen I mean it happened there were so many microcosms of what I'm saying

2:39.7

just throughout this game like you have the Brian Burns strip sack fumble of Mac Jones

2:44.8

dual Carter high points it it's at this moment where it's like wow we can score some points you

2:49.4

know maybe drive score, completely revitalize this team that is already seemingly hapless.
