Welcome back. It's the big blue banter. New York Giants football podcast. I'm Dan Schneier. It's always my co-s, Nick Falado. Today we're doing a mini mailbag before the Giants week nine game. Before we get to the mailbag, some things to get out there. First, I want to say thank you to everybody who has been so active in the comments and like the show.

He is a tank of a dog, just an absolute unit of a dog. I don't, I, to this day, I've never seen an athletic bulldog as Phoenix. I swear, I've seen a lot of my friends have bulldogs. The ones I know, they can barely breathe and can't go on walks. This one, Phoenix can go on walks. He can breathe and he looks like a tank out there. Just an absolute unit. It's something Dan, like walking down the street, people just bail, bro. I see them, I might be like, ah, shit, that thing's coming down the street. I got a highing legs.

Like those iron legs, dude, those are thick legs. Like, those are more developed legs than me or you have. And we worked out at times in the gym. It's unbelievable. I always asked you how that even happened. You said when you first got him, you lived in Phoenix at the time, obviously, and he would have you where you live in your apartment he had to climb up a bunch of stairs yeah i lived on the

third story of a real lived in Phoenix at the time, obviously, and he would have, where you lived in your apartment,

he had to climb up a bunch of stairs to get up. Yeah, I lived on the third story of a really

crappy apartment at a really, like, shitty place that was a very dangerous, actually.

Dude, like, seriously, well, we were there for a year and I had, um, had my car broken into,

I had my bike stolen. I had, um, two of my neighbors were murdered and a cop got shot in the face across street from where I lived. I didn't feel like it was that terrible of a place really. And I didn't feel like anything was wrong. No, no, there was definitely stuff wrong, but I was in like a gated, like it wasn't like it was a crappy place, but I had a gate around it, but there was always like, you know, people in there that shouldn't have been in there. If you know what I'm talking about who like just climbed over the gate or waited for a car to exits. I was just like, I got to get out of here and I moved to good year, which was a really nice neighborhood. The good news was Phoenix built up his hindlay. I know for a fact, early Phoenix life,

he was definitely not thrilled with you for making him go through that every day, like logging up the stairs. But he had such a little. He's a better dog for it. He's a better dog for it. He seemed to love it. And he has such a little like process of hopping up the stairs and everything. He, you know, I don't even know if he knows. All he really knows is, you know, I want pets, I want rubs, and I want food, like really.

And then he humps a lot still, even though he doesn't have. He, you know, I don't even know if he knows. All he really knows is, you know, I want pets, I want rubs and I want food, like really.

He humps a lot. Yeah, big hump burn. And this was five minutes on Phoenix. No, just kidding. Well, look, it's the mailbag. Things go off the rails at times. You're going to have to deal with it.
