| 0:55.7 | I mean, I was already married, it was already a parent, already had a full-time job. |
| 0:59.3 | I was doing mornings at a radio station for whatever reason. |
| 1:03.0 | None of that stuff made me feel like an adult. |
| 1:04.6 | But turning 30 felt to me like, okay, now I'm an adult. |
| 1:15.4 | Fast forward, decades later. |
| 1:18.5 | This was probably a handful of years ago. |
| 1:22.7 | Was at a meeting with a group of people. |
| 1:29.2 | It was maybe a dozen people. |
| 1:34.6 | Ava and I were the oldest people in the room. |
| 1:41.6 | In fact, most of the people in this meeting were young enough to be our kids. |
| 1:45.3 | And I don't think they did this intentionally. |
| 1:48.2 | I don't think they were aware of what they were doing. |
| 1:57.0 | But when the meeting broke up and everyone started socializing and talking, everyone else kind of huddled up with each other. |
