Hey everyone, I'm Dr. Allison. Today's scripture offers us a wiser way of being human as we step into the day.

0:12.0

Today's scripture is for anyone who feels caught in comparison, whether it shows up as envy,

0:17.9

insecurity, competitiveness, or the quiet ache of feeling overlooked. If you've

0:22.8

been measuring your worth against someone else's success, or if you've been tempted to make life a

0:27.2

proving ground, this passage gently calls us back to what is real. Today's scripture is 1st Corinthians

1:14.0

1:19.9

the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.

1:25.6

For we are co-workers in God's service.

1:28.3

You are God's field, God's building.

1:31.3

You can almost hear the frustration in Paul's voice here.

1:35.3

Not the kind of frustration that's contemptuous,

1:37.3

but the kind that comes from a spiritual parent who loves his people

1:41.3

and doesn't want to watch them shrink into something lesser.

1:44.8

It's like he's saying, I want more for you than this.

1:48.2

The Corinthian Church is dividing into camps.
