I don't even know how to start this podcast this week. First and foremost, before we dive into any of our hot topics, I want to

pay my condolences to the family and friends of Chadwick Boseman who passed away last Friday.

He passed away from colon cancer at the age of 43. It seems that only his family and very, very close friends

were aware. He just shot a Spike Lee movie, defied blood on Netflix. I think they finished shooting

earlier this year and Spike Lee was like, no, I didn't know he never said anything. Like, I totally

get why he didn't tell people. No one wants to be perceived asickly or have people, you know, feeling

sorry for them or treating them with kid gloves. As far as the public goes, his health is really not

our business, but with him not disclosing it, it just comes as a complete shock that no one was

prepared for. And I didn't realize how strongly I felt about Chadwick Boseman. I mean, I saw the

Black Panther. I want to say five times in theaters. And then when it was finally released, my mom bought

it. So we watched it over and over. That was like, oh, dude, over having dinner, I put Black Panther

on and we would just sit there and watch it over and over and be shocked and all and teared up.

Like, we didn't know exactly what was going to happen. Like, we didn't know the whole script at that

point. As much as I love Black Panther, it's not in my favorite Chadwick Boseman movie. That's

get on up. The James Brown movie. He should have wanted Oscar for that. And I said it at the time,

I went and found the old review that I wrote for the movie when it came out. And I said then,

I was like, this is Oscar worthy acting, but he didn't get any awards for it. shameful. Chadwick Boseman,

phenomenal actor, obviously, also a phenomenal human. The friends and family and people who met him,

I met him in passing. I took a picture with him at the Marshall premiere in DC. Really nice guy,

very humble, very personable, was just walking around like not in VIP. And I was like, hey, can I take
