The world is topsy-turvy and upside down.

I've been off the grid for the better part of a week.

I think I mentioned last episode that I've been selling signed copies of Don't Waste

or Pretty. The book that my upcoming TV film is based on.

I put them on sale on my website and y'all bought them and y'all kept buying them and y'all

can you keep buying them, which I greatly, greatly appreciate your support.

Y'all pay good money for your books and you want your books in a timely fashion.

So I've been signing until not even my hand hurts, my forearm, but I have been signing books

and I have been packing books and I've been getting them out as fast as I can.

Books are still on sale at DimitriaLucus.com. I tell you that because getting those books out

has consumed my life. I put about 500 copies on a USPS truck earlier today and that was just one

batch of the shipment. So I've been out of it. I really didn't do much for Labor Day.

I've been in Maryland for a while because California is on fire and there's a heat wave

and coronavirus is raging and they shut down the pool in my building and drained it to keep people

from gathering and I was like I'm living in this fancy downtown high rise. I'm paying for all

these amenities and not one of them can I use. Like the gym is closed, all the gathering areas are

the pool was open. That was the one bright light and then they drained my damn pool y'all.

But I tuned back into the world and the news and like everything is crazy. Like what is going on?
