podcast. We'll see. I just want to update everyone on the Southern Baptist Convention and

what's happening in the Southern

Baptist Convention right now. Paige Patterson's in the news and I saved the

stuff on Johnny Hunt because when that started making the news a few weeks ago, I wanted to wait for some

more development and accumulation of more items like what's happening with Paige

Patterson. And so we're gonna get into that a little bit,

Karen Swall Pryor out at SEBTS.

Some of this, if you're paying close attention to the SBC,

you'll think is old news and some of it indeed is.

But I don't tend to make a podcast about every little

thing that happens in the SBC rather I tend to look at general trends and I give you kind of a holistic as much as I can comprehensive view

of what's actually happening and so I know there's a lot of other things people want me to talk about right now.

And I'm hoping I can get to a number of those things later on in the week,

but I thought, you know, I've waited long enough with this this let's talk about what's happening in the

SBC so big picture here is the Me Too agenda has I think more than any other influence

from the political left been a detriment to the Southern Baptist

Convention.

I'm saying even more than critical race theory in some ways because this is what inspired the waiving of attorney client privilege this is

what's causing all the lawsuits and ultimately it's a financial drain

that's the problem it's a financial that's not the only problem but, but that's the thing that actually I think will end up killing the SBC. And that comes after the moral issues, right? It's just subsequent, you can predict it.
