My friends, here's something that I've been thinking about lately.

Maybe it's the season, maybe it's because we're midway through the year,

maybe it's because I've been hearing from different people,

people in my world, my friends, people in my community. They're feeling shifts right now,

wanting different things, inner shifts that are taking place, certainly industry shifts

that we see happen all over the place. I think that I'm seeing a lot of transition,

different desires emerge, people placing value on different things. What I've been really

pondering lately is what our soul wants. Now, the world will tell us that we want earthly success, right? So accomplishments,

more money, reputation, status, fame, all the things that get heralded by others.

But what I know is that our souls don't just want success, so to speak, how other people measure it, how it's externally

kind of celebrated by other people. Your soul wants aliveness. It wants to feel awake and engaged.

To me, whenever I feel this way, maybe looking at my to-do list of things that I

should be doing or things I should be following up on, if my soul is going, I don't know about

that today, or I keep pushing something off, I read that now as an intuitive message. A reminder almost to chase the spark within me, not just an

algorithm or not just a series of events or a strategy that's worked for me before. Our soul

wants aliveness and this is what we feel, this is what we experience when we're being real,

when we are being ourselves. Maybe the cost of this is even being the first person in the room

who's not faking it, the person who is really being themselves, doing what they want, saying

what they want, expressing the perfect

version of who they are, what we would call the real essence of who we are.

It takes courage to do this because, yes, other people perform. It feels scary sometimes to not
