I'm Pastor Mike Winger and this is Bible Thinker the program dedicated to thinking

biblically about everything.

Today we're going to talk about the issue of the Bible having been changed or lost

twisted corrupted distorted you know that the scribes throughout the centuries like basically

rewrote it and the Bible that we have today is totally not the one that was

originally given, the text that was originally given by Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, these

various guys and the other Beatles.

Now, for a long time, skeptics and heretics have attacked the Bible

based on the ignorance of believers, on the issues of what we're going to talk about today, the transmission

of the text, how it went from the original writing to the Bible you have in your hands now.

And us simply being unaware of these things of how this happened

has allowed skeptics to say whatever they want.

Because when they know more than you do on the topic,

you can't really argue with them about it.

And that has happened.

Hopefully, this is going to fix that.

This is hopefully going to fix that.

But I want to do it in a way where we're going to approach real scholarship

and I'm indebted to a guy named Daniel Wallace

who's a real genuine good scholar on these issues as well as a few other guys

James White and some others as well but
