And today on the podcast, we're going to do something a little different from usual.

We're going to start a little series, like a little series within the podcast.

As I'm sure you know what to expect when you're expecting the movie is out now.

And I thought it'd be fun to do our own, like, what you expect when you're expecting.

You know, to find a pregnant lady and ask her what she's expecting about becoming a mother.

And then, you know, to call her every two to three weeks after the baby's born,

to see how things are going and to see how those expectations are panning out.

And lucky for me, I found out recently that my friend Joanne, my friend from back when I lived in Chicago,

is pregnant.

She's due August 13th, so in about her eighth month of pregnancy.

And she agreed to be the subject of this little series.

And so I called her up on Skype to kick off the series.
