I stopped breastfeeding about a year ago now, but back when I was doing it, I pumped just

about every day.

And that all started because I've talked about this on the podcast before.

My daughter had to go to the NICU when she was first born.

She was there for the first three days of her life.

So I would have to go and try to breastfeed her there in the NICU.

And there was no dedicated lactation consultant there, and you know, just things weren't set

up right for breastfeeding.

There were these weird chairs with arms, so we couldn't really get a good angle.

And of course, I didn't know that yet.

And so every time we tried breastfeeding, I would just kind of like not to get too graphic.
