Summary

Ignorance is not bliss, especially in the birth space. While it's true that women go their birth place pregnant and in labor and come with a baby, there's a lot that happens in between those two. Knowing what to expect and what your options are puts you in the driver's seat. 0:55.8	So here's the important part. We've talked about it before, but you need to know your options because what you don't know, can hurt you, and if you don't know your options, you might not have any.
1:07.5	Here's an example or a couple examples of what that could look like when it comes to birth.

1:17.1	Why are you starting with apiotomies?

1:19.5	I feel like this is something that everybody's talking about.
1:23.6	In case you don't know, an episiotomy is a snip that your provider makes from your vagina
1:31.5	towards your anus. Y'all, they're taking scissors in there and they are just cutting up your
1:36.3	lady bids. Okay, that was way worse. A little snip, as they say, as babies crowning or
1:43.9	getting close, to help give more room.
