There were homeless veterans there were homeless people sleeping next to this and you you know when Dr. Drew Pinsky is talking about potential typhus,

potential of bubonic, that means that this is a health hazard for American citizens.

We were welcomed in and we picked up 50 tons of trash with only 200 volunteers and nine hours without the help of the city without the help of the governor without the help of the mayor.

We did it as private citizens because we don't need big

government. This may sound a bit funny but that is exactly what Alexis de

Tocville wrote about in the best book on America on democracy. Of course it took a

foreigner to understand America and his point you've got to read the book is

the volunteerism upon which our society is based, the can-do spirit.

We don't rely upon somebody far away in some federal capital, we get things done ourselves.

that the authorities refused to pick up on the taxpayer dime.
