0:06.6	Personal Finance Podcast for today, Thursday, July 24, 2014.
0:12.6	As you may be able to tell by the sound of my voice,
0:14.7	I'm a little bit under the weather,
0:16.2	and I've been fighting this off for the last couple days.
0:18.4	Nothing seriously wrong, I've just been burning the candle at both ends
0:21.4	and didn't take enough time to build in enough time for sleep.
0:24.6	So that's a mistake I won't repeat again in the future.
0:27.1	But I didn't build enough time for sleep.
0:28.8	I fought through it yesterday to record episode
0:34.1	and I feel like I struggled a little bit so forgive me if it wasn't quite up to par
0:38.0	but I didn't want to leave you without a show so today I'm going to play two very short pieces of audio I think the show will be no more than 10 to 15 minutes in total length.

0:55.6	In case you're unfamiliar with Alan Watts, he was a philosopher.
0:58.4	He died back in the 1970s, but I think about 1973.
1:02.2	He was a Brit, but he was
1:03.9	specialized in Eastern philosophy and especially in
1:06.9	translating Eastern philosophy into and interpreting it for the Western
1:11.8	tradition so he has various pieces of audio and and interpreting it for the Western tradition.
1:12.8	So he has various pieces of audio and video recordings
1:15.8	that are quite thought-provoking.
