Tracy Brayman, the Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, who is rather

tragically, but I think grimly predictably in the news today, not because of the very powerful

and pertinent, even some would say, well, everyone intelligent would say important speech

that she made yesterday about Downing Street's attempt to ban selected reporters from a media briefing on Brexit.

Has even in the newspapers that she was defending, drawn more attention for her sartorial decisions than for her comments which i i mean look i could

get on my high horse about this but um i'm not going to i'm going to discuss it with her but she's

currently on a scooter and on a crutch so this is this is not a word of a lie the shadow

secretary of state for culture media media and sport, is currently

wheeling herself into my studio on a sort of adapted scooter and in a full leg plaster. So,

Tracy, hello. Hello. Are you all right? So have you not got a horn? I was expecting a beep

as you came through the door. I know. I know it's instead of crotches.

Well, forgive me.

I didn't know you were injured.

So automatically, of course, the ludicrous focus put upon your sartorial decisions yesterday moves into a slightly different light.

Because when you are hobbled or hopping, it makes getting dressed in certain circumstances a little different.

Well, it's all slightly absurd, isn't it? But I did feel that, you know, I'm in a really privileged position, James, that I can actually, you know, push back and be vocal about this.
