Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote

ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

Good morning you guys.

We are picking up with a new devotional in the Bible app and it looks like a fun one.

It's titled Choosing Each Day, God or Self and there's a link to that in the description

of the podcast if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read

the scripture and then Tori is going to pick up with the Devo.

Let's do it.

Okay so the scripture is Joshua 24 verse 1 through 15.

I'm going to focus on verse 15 and I'll give you the synopsis of verses 1 through 14.

It's Joshua who summed up all the tribes members of Israel and all their elders, their leaders,

their judges, their officers and he basically gave a recount of what God had brought his

people through and he pointed out that a lot of these people ended up serving false

gods or idols and so it leads down to verse 15.

I definitely recommend you read all the scripture but it's a long one and it ends with this.

But if you refuse to serve the Lord then choose today whom will you serve?

Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates or will it be the gods

of the Amorites and whose land you now live but as for me and my family we will serve

the Lord?

Yeah.
