0:18.6	We are picking up with a new devotional in the Bible app and it looks like a fun one.
0:22.5	It's titled Choosing Each Day, God or Self and there's a link to that in the description
0:28.3	of the podcast if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read
0:31.6	the scripture and then Tori is going to pick up with the Devo.
0:34.2	Let's do it.
0:35.2	Okay so the scripture is Joshua 24 verse 1 through 15.
0:40.4	I'm going to focus on verse 15 and I'll give you the synopsis of verses 1 through 14.
0:45.3	It's Joshua who summed up all the tribes members of Israel and all their elders, their leaders,
0:51.6	their judges, their officers and he basically gave a recount of what God had brought his
0:57.4	people through and he pointed out that a lot of these people ended up serving false
1:02.8	gods or idols and so it leads down to verse 15.
1:06.6	I definitely recommend you read all the scripture but it's a long one and it ends with this.
1:12.5	But if you refuse to serve the Lord then choose today whom will you serve?
1:18.7	Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates or will it be the gods
1:24.6	of the Amorites and whose land you now live but as for me and my family we will serve
1:30.6	the Lord?
1:31.6	Yeah.
1:32.6	The devotional says how do you wake up most mornings?
1:36.6	Do you use an alarm of some sort?
