0:00.0	Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we devote ourselves
0:15.2	to the Lord daily with you. Good morning you guys. We are picking up with day two of our choosing
0:20.9	each day God or self devotional in the Bible app. There's a link to that in the description of the
0:26.0	podcast if you guys want to follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture
0:29.3	and then Tori is going to pick up with the divo. Let's do it. The first scripture is Romans 8
0:34.1	verse 12 and it says this, therefore dear brothers and sisters you have no obligation to do what
0:42.5	your sinful nature urges you to do. The next scripture is Galatians chapter 5 verse 16 and it says
0:50.4	this. So I say let the Holy Spirit guide your lives then you won't be doing what your sinful
0:59.2	nature craves. And the last scripture is Galatians chapter 3 verse 2 and it says this,
1:06.5	think about the things of heaven not the things of earth. The devotional says as we seek to choose
1:13.7	the Lord each day it's necessary to remember that we all have a desire to follow our flesh and think
1:21.2	or do whatever quote feels right or seems easiest. As Paul argues in Romans 8 for those who are
1:29.6	outside of Christ there is no choice they are controlled completely by their sin.
1:35.2	Believers Paul says have the Holy Spirit living within them by the spirit we are becoming more
1:42.8	and more like Jesus. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to overcome our flesh. As Joshua told
1:50.0	the Israelites we can choose. How might this choice play itself out especially first thing in the
1:57.9	morning. It seems that most people usually spend a few minutes gathering their thoughts before
2:03.1	the day before they get out of bed in the morning. In these moments it can be a temptation to choose
2:10.1	to think first about our day, our schedule, what we need to do, who needs to be where etc.
2:17.0	Guilty. Yes. Before we know it we can fall prey to the lies of the enemy and begin dreading our
2:23.1	day or feeling overwhelmed by it and then try to tackle it as soon as our feet hit the floor.
2:29.6	What if instead we were to choose the Lord. What if by God's grace we would choose to fight our
