My guest is Kevin Kelly, who is one of the greatest thinkers of our time when it comes to the role the technology plays on society, the future, our culture, humanity, you name it. He has a resume that goes back pre-Me, and I'm not really sure which

parts to highlight, but I will give it a shot. Kevin is the founding executive editor of

Wired magazine. He's a philosopher of life technology

excels is with his unbelievable knowledge of how technology has played a role in the human pursuit and why it is that we build all the things that we build.

He's written half a dozen books including Out of Control The New Biology of Machines,

What Technology Wants, and his latest book, which is called The Inevitable,

Forecast the 12 technological forces that will shape the next 30 years on this planet.

And believe me, a lot is going to happen in the next 30 years.

So Kevin does a lot of public speaking, a lot of podcasts and Q&As and so on and so forth and

before we sat down and I hit the little red record button he said that he hoped I asked him some questions

that he had never heard before, some good questions. So here goes.
