Let's pray together.

Dear Father in heaven, we come to you tonight,

and we come to you with grateful hearts.

We come to you with grateful hearts. We come to you with heavy hearts.

But God, I know that you tell us in your word not to fear because you are with us.

You tell us that the joy of the Lord is our strength.

God, I pray that our nation does weep over the treasures that we have

surrendered, that lead to our liberty and that lead to our blessing and protection so that we

would search after them again, that we would turn our hearts back to you, our whole hearts

in repentance and faith and cry out to you, God, for we would turn our hearts back to you, our whole hearts in repentance

and faith and cry out to you, God, for you to revive us individually, our hearts, our homes,

and our nation. God, help us to think correctly, because as we think, that is how we act. And that's

what we are about is what we think about.

So God, direct us through your word tonight in the reading of Scripture.

And we ask this in Jesus' name.
