Summary

In today’s episode, we’re sharing a real-time update on what God is currently teaching us in our marriages. We’re definitely not experts—we’re just a couple girls in the first decade of marriage learning as we go. From navigating exhaustion and learning how to love our husbands in the small ways, to honoring their voices, creating space for each other to recharge, and keeping fun alive in the middle of busy family life—this conversation is honest, funny, and full of the little lessons shaping our relationships right now. We also talk about serving together, learning deeper dependence on our spouses in new seasons, and why prayer for your husband might be one of the most powerful things you can do in marriage. If you’re married, dating, or dreaming about marriage someday, we hope this episode encourages you that growth in marriage often comes through the everyday moments. And truly—God is using it all. What's up y'all? My name is Laura Eldridge. And I'm Nicoletta Bradley. And we have a podcast called Call Her Holy. Yes, you heard that right. Not Call Her Daddy. Call Her Holy. And here's the deal, y'all. We are talking about the topics that you want to talk about. We are going there with masturbation, body image, dating. What do you do the morning after you wake up in somebody's bed? But here's a thing. We are adding, what does the Bible say about the topics that we are experiencing? Culture can leave a girl with some questions. The church can leave a girl with some questions. And we've got some answers for you from a super raw and vulnerable place. No, we're literally telling you our stories of what we did when we were in high school and college in young adult years. And I think we add a really valuable perspective.

are in your, I feel like most people listening to our podcast. We're not sure. Yeah, are close to our age-ish. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, like, we're all in, we're all in probably, like, the first decade of marriage. So we're not experts. But not experts, but we're learning. Not newlyweds. I think that there's, there's almost this, like out there, though, that like you can't even talk about marriage until you're an expert. But I don't think we're coming at it from an expert point of view in this episode. We're coming at it from like a hey, this is where we're at. Here's where we're at currently. Here's what God's challenging us in, convicting us in. Here's what's hard. Here's what's good. Here's a win. Here's like something we figured out this year. And it's really fun to do this with another person to learn what you guys are learning. I agree. Because I feel like I take lessons from your marriage and my marriage. Me too. I can't wait to take notes on this. All right. but what are you learning these days? Okay. Give us something good. If it's not good, we're stopping this podcast
