Kate Veltcamp. I am a plant-based chef, a recipe developer, food photographer. Before I went vegan,

I didn't cook. I basically lived off ramen. I didn't have any interest in all the lessons my

mom would try to teach me growing up. It just wasn't my thing. But then I sort of transitioned to

this different diet and I realized I want to enjoy the food I'm eating. And at that time, since it's been 13 years, there were not as many options out there. So I realized, okay, I think I have to like actually learn to cook now. And then I did. And I just realized how much I really loved it. I loved the whole creating

process. I loved, fell in love with recipe development. I got some cookbooks and I sort of

watched videos on YouTube and taught myself the basics and then started diving deep into
