And up next, we're going to start talking about the Notre Dame offense and what we learned about this unit from the spring. Now, two different conversations. We're going to start off by talking about what we learned and some of the questions that we still have. And it's not such of a negative, like, how did you not get this answered in spring? You sell the bulk of the office. He's not answering these, but there's still have. And it's not such of a negative, like, we saw it, how did you not get this answered in spring? You saw the bulk of the off season and answered these, but there's still questions nonetheless. But like every offseason, man, there's a lot that we can take away from both sides of the ball. On offense, there were some things that we learned about this group. And it's, it's really, really promising. It really is it is and you know when you when you look at

the offense trev and and you look at kind of you know where things are going and you talk about the

things that we learned you never have all your answers at the end of spring ever but do you feel

like you made good growth you know little bit of growth, not encouraging.

Loads and loads of growth, very, very encouraging, and kind of where they were in the middle of that.

And I would say with the offense, I feel like it's leaned towards more, a lot of growth that we saw and a lot of things that we learn from the fall.

And when you look at some of the things that we'll say are the remaining questions, they're more about, okay, can you apply what you did in the spring into the fall? Not so much, man, I don't know about that, man. Can you not suck at left tackle in the fall? Like, that's not a question that we're having. So when you talk about it, you know, we we dove into this a little

bit in part one. But I think the biggest thing of what we learned this, this spring is that

they're serious about the Anthony Knapp move to left tackle or left guard and Will Black being

the left tackle and Gerby Lambert kicking outside. And the reason I say that, and this is a good

news. So what did we learn? We learned what the offensive line is going to look like. Because our fear was, okay, they do that in practice one, and then they start experimenting and moving guys around. And now next, you know, let's get Will Black some reps at guard today or let's get Anthony Knapp some reps at left tackle today. We didn't really see that.

We saw that.

Obviously, we saw the same lineup in every practice until Gerby was not in the blue gold game and they just slid Maddie Augustine and right tackle, which is where he's been practicing all spring, right tackle, right guard. He's the guy that's moved around because there's this faith in Maddie Augustine, which is also something we learned as part of this,

that if there's an injury,

it's most likely 58 that's going in,

left tag. Like he's kind of emerged as that. And the coaches talk about, you know, he's going to be in a position battle. I don't see that. but if somebody slides, if somebody doesn't have a good offseason,

if somebody misses a couple weeks with an ankle injury,

then Maddie Augustine's position to say, Hey, but if somebody slides, if somebody doesn't have a good off season, if somebody misses a couple weeks with an ankle injury,

then Maddie Augustine's position to say,

hey, I can step into this thing and do that.

And so that was good to see,

but you're seeing the rotation start to come together.
