So with that, we have just had the labor manifesto, change is the word emblazon just as it is on the

labour bus, more on the bus later. Kate, what do we learn from the Manifesto? Is there anything new in it?

Almost nothing. The slogan is change, but nothing seems to have changed in terms of our

knowledge really of what labor would do in power and certainly labor's

narrative about what they themselves would do in power. So you have what we have

heard very clearly before, what they're calling the triple lock on tax no rise to income

tax national insurance or VAT and in addition to that no change to corporation tax in the

first parliament although there was an interesting note in there saying,

basically if other countries cut their corporation tax, perhaps it could go down.

A note about staying competitive, but it's not going to rise, and I think we can probably

assume it's probably not going to fall either.
