After moving to an isolated farm outside Cherryvale, Kansas in 2010, one couple quickly learned the property already had a reputation among locals. Strange noises echoed from the woods at night, unsettling shadows moved between the barns, and visitors rarely stayed on the property after dark longer than they had to.

But the strangest activity didn’t begin until years later, when repeated late-night calls started coming in reporting cattle wandering loose between two nearby farms. Every time the couple drove out to investigate, they found nothing—no broken fences, no missing cows, no tracks anywhere.

Then one night, they finally spotted the mysterious herd for themselves moving silently across the property.

What they saw looked like cattle. But according to both witnesses, the animals moved through fences and trees without making a sound… and didn’t appear to be fully touching the ground at all.
