Summary
Working overnight security, you get used to the routine—empty office buildings, quiet hallways, and the kind of silence where every little sound stands out a little more than it should.
Except for one building. There was something about it people didn’t like. The housekeepers didn’t want to go in alone. Other guards avoided it when they could. No one really explained why—just that it was different.
And then one night, something happened that couldn’t be brushed off.
