Well, hello, my friends, and welcome to the Live Inspired Podcast Monday Morning Moments with John O'Leary.

We record these so that you and I can begin our days and these weeks in awe and on fire with a burst

of inspiration. Why not get the month off with a burst of inspiration as well? Because once a

month this year, we're going to be celebrating individuals who are grateful for all they have,

joyful in all they do, and positively change the world one life at a time in our on fire for good campaign.

Turns out it was not just an event we did back in November, but a way to live that event

every day of our lives. Many of those nominated this past month. They were dutiful. They were

soft-spoken. They were rule-following leaders. They were awesome.

The one we chose, however, was not dutiful, nor soft-spoken, nor a rule follower.

Let me tell you more about her.

Now, if you don't peg a 77-year-old Catholic nun, an Army lieutenant colonel as a rule-breaking, noise-making, trouble-finding type of person,

you haven't met Sister Doris, Joe, Rack.

From a distance, the Junction City, Kansas resident appears to be a sweet, extremely traditional,

sister of St. Joseph Nunn serving in a local parish.

But the path she took to get there and her

boldness in serving others along the way is anything but traditional. Sister Rack, known as DJ,

is an army veteran. She is a career health care professional. She's a passionate friend to

Minnie who simply won't take no foreign answer when it comes to serving others.

Yes, even if it requires her to break a few rules in the process.

At an age when most have retired to their rocking chairs,

Sister DJ was taking her vows to become a nun.

That's right.
