He speaks excellent English. He studied in Harvard in the United States. He's been on the show before.

You guys might remember him, well, not if you're brand new. If you've been here for a while,

you might remember that he was talking about the Notre Dame fire in a fairly recent episode.

That was a really interesting one. So if you didn't hear that, go back and listen to that too.

But in this one, it's a lot more lighthearted.

We're talking about the wall, the ancient walls of the city, the churches, things you should see.

But we also talk a lot about the fourth Arandesmont itself.

The fourth arrondissement is the heart of the neighborhood, Le Marais.

We talked about it last week, because Marais is both on third and fourth, but the fourth really was where the swamp was. Marais, in French, means a swamp. And it's that area that was developed into the new town back in the Middle Ages. Today, the fourth district is where you have a huge mix of communities. It's as much the gay district as it is the Jewish district,
