So that said, in this episode, I want to cover some alternative phrases,

some things that you can say when a loved one or a friend,

family member, et cetera, is walking through a hard time or experiencing something

really challenging in their life.

And you find yourself in a position of not really knowing what to say.

Or maybe even being tempted to say some of those common phrases that we just say when

someone's walking through a hard time.

And I'm going to give you some alternatives to consider before you say the common

everything happens for a reason or similar things to that.

I want to offer you some alternative suggestions of responses, phrases, et cetera,

that you could say that are going to be probably a lot more comforting and validating to the

family member or friend of yours who probably is really just looking for a little bit of comfort,

knowing there's really nothing you can say to make it better, period.
