When we're in the middle of hard things, we quickly lose perspective and give up hope. In this video, I'll share an important truth that will help you find the courage to keep going. Do THIS When Life Doesn't Make Sense with Angie Smith When you're going through something hard, it's easy to question, God, where are you? I sat down with my good friend Angie Smith and talked about how to trust God even when we don't understand the story He's writing. How Your Story Fits Into God's Story "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." Romans 15:4 (NIV) From beginning to end, the Bible is full of hope. When we open the Scriptures, we find encouragement for our story by reading about the greater story. Here are a few journal questions to help unpack this idea: Have you ever thought of the Bible as one big story? What is the point of the story of Scripture? What part of God's story do you want to know more about?
